Welcome to Mintory. By using our mobile application (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Mintory, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. In-App Purchases and Subscriptions
- Subscriptions: Mintory offers "Mintory Premium" on a monthly or annual basis. Subscriptions provide access to unlimited recipe storage, AI smart scaling, and multi-language translation.
- Consumables (Butter): You may purchase "Butter," a virtual item used to generate AI recipes and images. Butter is a consumable item and is deducted upon use.
- Payments: All purchases are processed through the Apple App Store billing system using your Apple ID.
3. Cancellation and Refunds
- Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID Account Settings.
- Refund Policy: All refund requests are handled directly by Apple. Mintory does not have the authority to process refunds for App Store transactions. Please visit reportaproblem.apple.com for refund requests.
4. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer
- Mintory provides AI-generated baking recipes and images. These are provided for reference and creative inspiration only.
- Mintory does not guarantee the accuracy, safety, or success of any AI-generated recipe. Use of AI content is at your own risk, and Mintory is not liable for any baking failures or damages.
5. User Content and Intellectual Property
- You retain ownership of the recipes and content you upload to the App.
- By using the Service, you grant Mintory a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use anonymized data to improve our AI models and service quality.
6. Partner (Influencer) Program
We may operate a partner or influencer program.
- Participation terms and benefits (e.g. badges, feature support) are subject to our policy and may be changed or discontinued.
- We do not guarantee any specific results (e.g. save counts, channel traffic) from using the Service as a partner.
- Content or posts about Mintory made by partners or influencers are created by those individuals. We do not pre-approve or endorse such content. If they receive benefits for posting, they are responsible for complying with applicable advertising and disclosure rules (e.g. on Instagram or under local law).
- Referring to someone as a "partner" or "official partner" means we have a collaboration with them regarding our service only; it does not mean we guarantee that person's content or statements.
7. Prohibited Conduct
You may not use the Service to violate any law, infringe others' rights, or upload illegal or harmful content. You may not impersonate others or misuse the Service (e.g. reverse engineering, automated scraping, or circumventing access controls). We may suspend or terminate your account for breach of these Terms.
8. Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We disclaim all warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mintory shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the Service.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the revised Terms on this page and update the "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the Service after the update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Service.
10. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
